FAQs

FAQs

1.What are Forest day candles made from? +

Our candles are crafted from 100% pure forest plant wax, with no paraffin, no harmful additives and no artificial essences. All our fragrance oils are extracted from natural plants and woods, capturing the authentic scents of the forest. Each candle is carefully hand-poured with natural cotton wicks, ensuring a clean, smokeless burn and true-to-nature fragrance release—aligning with our brand belief of Light Living, Deep Nature.

3.How can I make my Forest day candle last longer? +

The key to extending your candle’s life is regular wick trimming—always trim the wick to about 0.5 centimetres before each lighting. A shorter wick prevents a large flame, reduces unnecessary wax consumption, and avoids black smoke or wick mushrooming. Following our full candle care guidelines (including proper first burning to avoid a "memory ring") will also maximise your candle’s burn time and fragrance experience.

4.Do you offer personalised candle services? +

Yes, we do! We provide a bespoke personalisation service for our candles—you can customise the candle label with your chosen images, names, dates or warm messages, making it the perfect unique gift for loved ones or a special addition to your home. For all personalisation details and requests, please contact us directly.

5.How do I purchase Forest day candles? +

We currently do not offer direct online ordering. To purchase our candles, or to enquire about product availability, fragrance options, pricing and bulk order details, please contact our team directly—we will respond to your enquiry promptly and assist you with your purchase needs.

6.Do you ship internationally? +

Yes, we offer global shipping to most destinations. Shipping costs and delivery times vary by location, and all international orders may be subject to local customs duties or import taxes (the responsibility of the buyer). For detailed shipping information for your region, please contact us with your delivery address, and we will provide a tailored quote.

7.How should I store my Forest day candle when not in use? +

To preserve the fragrance and quality of your candle, store it in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place with the lid tightly closed, away from direct sunlight, high temperatures and humid environments. Direct sunlight can cause the candle to fade or deform, while high temperatures may lead to premature wax melting—proper storage ensures your candle remains in perfect condition for every use.

8.Are Forest day candles suitable for sensitive groups? +

Our candles are made with natural plant-based ingredients and no artificial irritants, but sensitive groups (such as pregnant women, infants, asthmatics, or those with fragrance allergies) are recommended to consult a doctor before use. We also suggest testing the candle in a small, well-ventilated space for a short time to ensure no discomfort before regular use. For fragrance recommendations for sensitive users, please contact our team for personalised advice.

9.Why do I get a "memory ring" on my candle, and how can I fix it? +

A "memory ring" (unmelted wax on the candle wall) forms if the candle is not burned long enough for the surface wax to melt completely on the first use. To avoid this, burn the candle continuously for 2-3 hours for the first time until a uniform wax pool forms across the entire surface. If a memory ring has already formed, you can gently warm the candle jar with a hair dryer (on a low setting) to melt the excess wax and smooth the surface, then follow our care guidelines for subsequent use.

10.How should I safely extinguish my Forest day candle? +

Never blow out your candle directly (this causes smoke and wax splashing). Instead, use a wick trimmer to press the wick into the melted wax, or a dedicated candle snuffer to cover the flame and extinguish it—both methods ensure a smoke-free finish. Wait for the wax to fully solidify before replacing the lid to keep dust out and preserve the fragrance.
